Just beyond the trees that line this small tributary are the school grounds of Bishop Miege High School.  This site is often used for water quality monitoring by BMHS environmental class students.  The bed of the stream is made up mostly of sand, with small rocks creating a few riffles.  There is also a small path leading to this stream from both sides, making it a good place for a small group.

After there are several entries for a site, observing and predicting changes is a great learning activitiy. Observing, documenting and predicting environmental change is a cornerstone of environmental protection.
