Watt’s Mill is widely used by people throughout the day by workers on lunch break, walkers/bikers enjoying the trail and the occasional fisherman.  Just beyond the trail is a unique site where the bed of the stream and stream bank are made of slabs of limestone bedrock creating small waterfalls.  While the natural features are nice to look at, there are also large amounts of litter in the area because of its frequent use and high amounts of impervious surfaces immediately surrounding the site.  This is great site for gaining an appreciation for our creeks as well as witnessing the direct impacts of human use on them.

After there are several entries for a site, observing and predicting changes is a great learning activitiy. Observing, documenting and predicting environmental change is a cornerstone of environmental protection.
